Health & Wellbeing Action Group
We prioritise learning that contributes towards promoting positive mental, physical, social and emotional wellbeing. Engaging in discussions and activities that promote healthy habits, in everyday life in relation to all aspects of our lives.
We consider the benefits and the importance of these, as we grow and develop in childhood and beyond. Some of our ideas are fruity Friday, lunchtime clubs, yoga and the daily mile. We are working hard to develop our emotional literacy surrounding the Zones of Regulation, to manage our emotions and feelings with healthy strategies, including our whole school approach to mindfulness and outdoor learning.
We use our school vision and values, as we plan and action ideas, making our school a better place, by being kind and respectful and linking up our ideas to work alongside the Rights and Eco groups collaboratively.
